He is my son when he’s good and “her son” when he’s not (and viceversa).

Jacopo is a good boy, 17 years old, who puts up with our difficult characters! A good student, strong and independent, the “genius” of the family- our pride and joy! Up until now he has mostly concentrated on his studies and hasn’t been very involved in the restaurant, although now and again he helps out when necessary. Whether his destiny will be to continue with the family business or to move far away, only time will tell. In the meantime, when he moves from table to table, guests seem very happy with him but not as happy as I am with him, of course!
running the “Santo Spirito” restaurant from generation to generation.
